Over the past 10 years, our founder Georgie-Ann Getton-Mckoy has produced countless events ranging from 2-hour long networking events to 72 hour long hackathons. For the first 7 years, these events were live in NYC. Then, in 2017, after having her second child she realized that she needed to experiment more with online events and remote work.
In 2017 she started studying, testing, and reviewing online event platforms, tools, and services.
Along the way, a lot of mistakes were made, such as thinking we could run the virtual event agenda in the same way we would run in person.
