How to Transfer Google Form Ownership (Any Email Domain) | 2024 Updated

Learn how to transfer ownership of a Google Form to anyone (even if their email has a different domain).

On you (the form’s owner) side, do this:

1. Click the 3 Dots in the upper right corner

2. Search for that person’s name and add them as an “editor”

On the new editor’s side, do this:

1. Click the 3 dots

2. Click on “Make a copy”

3. Select the destination in your Google Drive and click “Make a copy”**

4. If you want to share data with the previous form, click on “Responses”, then “Link a sheets”, then “Select Existing Spreadsheet”. You’ll select the spreadsheet used in the previous form.

**The data will not be transferred to the new form.
