How to Use Virtual Backgrounds on Zoom to Market Your Business

In my previous video in the 90 Day Youtube Challenge, we were playing with the design we created in Canva. Now we’re going to create a branded step and repeat background for our business using this virtual background feature and Canva. 

1. Upload your logo inside of Canva.
2. Turn your logo at a 45° angle. Select the “Duplicate” icon (located beside the trash can icon) to create copies of your logo. 
3. Place the copies of your logo in a diagonal line that spans the width of the image.
4. Then, highlight everything and group it by selecting “Group” at the top of the menu bar.
5. Make a couple of copies of this grouping by using the “Duplicate” button.
6. Place these copies above and below the already existing line of logos to fill the image. Now I have a whole step and repeat kind of vibe going on. 
7. To brand the image even further, I changed the background color to one of my brand’s colors.
8. Download the finished image as a JPG.

 This is how you could, again, get that marketing for your event. You’re on a lot of Zoom calls if you are a human right now and you’re going to be on a lot more of these sessions, so use it. Market your business inside of these sessions.

To upload your image in Zoom to use it as a virtual background:  

1. While in a Zoom meeting select the caret (located beside of the video icon) and select “Choose Virtual Background.”
2. Add the proper image and it’s going to populate to make it appear as if you’re in front of a branded step and repeat at a big fancy event.
