What’s the hottest term in the events industry right now. It’s HYBRID. Everyone is using it, but there’s a HUGE problem that no one is talking about.

What does hybrid mean?

Almost everyone has a different definition of what a hybrid event should look or feel like.

• Should there be held attendees online and half in person?
• Do you need a stage?
• Is catering required?
• Do you give attendees tablets and laptops at their tables?
• What COVID policies need to be followed?
• And so on and so on.

Here’s my quick take on Hybrid events.

It’s uniquely defined in each instance. You have to work with your team, contracts, and your overall attendee experience to determine how hybrid looks for you.
